BehindTheHate is an evidence-first public learning project about inter-group hostility worldwide. It is designed to explain patterns, not profile individuals, and to pair every major harm page with source transparency and examples of what has helped reduce tension.
What we do
We combine official data, community reporting, surveys, and scholarship to show where hostility appears, why reporting gaps matter, and what reform efforts look like in practice.
What we do not do
We do not publish raw "most hateful" rankings without context, and we do not turn painful material into spectacle or personality scoring.
